Easy 5-Step Black Bean Nachos

Elevate your snack game with these irresistible Loaded Black Bean Nachos. Bursting with vibrant flavours and hearty textures, this dish is a celebration of Mexican-inspired goodness. Perfect for game nights, movie marathons, or anytime cravings strike, these nachos are guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. 


  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Brown Onion
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 & ½ Tbsp Nacho Spice Mix
  • 1 Tbsp Ceres Organics Tomato Paste
  • 1 can Ceres Organics Black Beans
  • 1 can Ceres Organics Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Ceres Organics Canned Corn Kernels
  • 1 medium Avocado
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 handful Fresh Coriander
  • 1 pkt Plain Corn Chips


  1. Dice the onion.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick frying pan on medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add the spices and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Drain and rinse the black beans, then add to the pan with the tomato paste, canned tomatoes and the corn kernels. Simmer for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavours to develop
  4. Meanwhile mash the avocado with the lemon juice and a generous seasoning of salt and pepper to make a guacamole.
  5. Assemble the nachos by placing the chips in a bowl, then top with the bean mix and guacamole. Top with coriander and serve immediately. Enjoy!
