This indulgent, festive chocolate slab is a delightful treat that brings together the rich flavors of organic cacao, crunchy toasted pecans, and a burst of superfoods. Perfect for sharing during the holidays, and easy to make, this festive chocolate slab will impress your guests and fill your home with sweet holiday cheer!

ingredients

  • 2 cups Ceres Organics Raw Cacao Butter, chopped finely
  • 1 cup Ceres Organics Raw Cacao, sifted
  • 1/3 cup Ceres Organics Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup Ceres Organics Pecan Nuts halved, toasted
  • 3 Tbsp Ceres Organics Pumpkin Seeds, toasted
  • ¼ cup Ceres Organics Dried Wild Blueberries
  • ¼ cup Ceres Organics Sundried Goji Berries
  • A sprinkle of Ceres Organics Kelp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp dried raspberries (optional)

method

  1. Place the cacao butter in a medium sized glass bowl and melt in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring with a metal spoon in between each microwave burst.
  2. As the cacao butter melts, prepare your Ironclad Legacy pan by lining it with greased baking paper.
  3. Once all the cacao butter has melted stir in the cacao powder followed by the maple syrup. Mix until smooth and velvety then stir in the vanilla essence.
  4. Pour the chocolate into your prepared pan and sprinkle the halved pecans evenly over the top of the chocolate followed by all the rest of the ingredients finishing with the salt and dried raspberries.
  5. Leave to cool till hard, in the fridge.
  6. Remove the slab from the pan, peel off the baking paper and using a knife dipped in boiling water cut into pieces.
