This refreshing Pure Ginger Zinger iced tea blends organic lemon and ginger tea with fresh orange juice and a touch of agave syrup for a zesty drink made for warm days and easy entertaining.

ingredients

  • 1–2 Ceres Organics Ginger Tea bags
  • ½ cup (100ml) hot water
  • 1–2 tsp Ceres Organics Agave Syrup, to taste
  • Juice of ½ an orange (approx. 40–50ml)
  • ½ cup sparkling water (or ginger ale, kombucha or prosecco)
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange slices and fresh ginger, to garnish

method

  1. Place the ginger tea bag(s) in hot water and steep for 15 minutes to create a strong infusion.
  2. Remove the tea bag and allow the tea to cool completely.
  3. Stir in the fresh orange juice and agave syrup, adjusting sweetness to taste. Mix well.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour over the cooled tea mixture.
  5. Top with sparkling water (or your chosen alternative).
  6. Garnish as desired with orange slice and fresh ginger. Serve chilled.
