FODMAP Friendly

FODMAP friendly, is a label given to products low in FODMAPs. FODMAPs are a group of sugars that are not completely digested or absorbed in our intestines, and can cause pain and discomfort for some individuals.
FODMAP labels are based on Monash University classifcations. Please note, portion sizes is important when it comes to intake of FODMAPs and individuals following a FODMAP diet should do so under the guidance of a dietitian.

No Added Sugar

Products do not contain any added sugars, this includes white sugar, brown sugar, honey, icing sugar, coconut sugar, maple syrup, agave syrup, rice malt syrup, golden syrup, malt and concentrated fruit juice.

Low Sugar

According to the Food Standards Code, products are low in sugar if they contain no more than 5g of sugar per 100g of solid food or no more than 2.5g of sugar per 100mL of liquid food.

Low Salt

According to the Food Standards Code, products are low in salt, also referred to as sodium if they contain no more than 120mg of sodium per 100g of solid food or no more than 120mg of sodium per 100mL of liquid food.

Low Fat

According to the Food Standards Code, products are low in fat if they contain no more than 3g of fat per 100g of solid food or no more than 1.5g of fat per 100mL of liquid food.

Refers to any product that is not treated used high temperatures or cooking methods over 47 degrees celcius.

Keto

A serving of food must contain 5g or less carbohydrate to be keto.

Protein Source

Certified Organic

"Certified Organic" guarantees a product has been produced and processed in accordance with strict organic standards by the most highly regarded certifying organisations in the world. All Ceres Organics products are certified through BioGro New Zealand which is internationally recognised and accredited.

Other products sold or distributed by Ceres Organics meet international organic certification standards including but not limited to; EKO (Netherlands), Jas Organic Seal (Japan) and USDA (America).

In Conversion to Organic

"In Conversion to Organic" means that the land or grower is undergoing the necessary transitional period and adhering to organic farming practices, but has not yet attained full organic certification.

IBD Fair Trade certification verifies that a product or organization meets the standards and requirements set forth by IBD for fair trade practices. It ensures that the product or organization adheres to principles such as fair wages, safe working conditions, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility in their supply chain.

Fairtrade International (FLO)

"Fair Trade International FLO" refers to Fairtrade International, formerly known as the Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International (FLO). Fairtrade International is a global organization that sets standards and certifies products as fair trade. The FLO certification ensures that products bearing the Fair Trade International label have been produced and traded according to the organization's rigorous social, economic, and environmental criteria.

Natrue Certified

"Natrue certified" refers to a certification provided by Natrue, an international non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and protecting natural and organic cosmetics and personal care products. Natrue certification verifies that a product meets their strict standards and criteria for natural and organic ingredients, as well as sustainable production and packaging practices. Products with the Natrue certified label are free from synthetic fragrances, colors, and preservatives, and are derived from natural and organic sources. assurance.

B Corp Certified Brand

"B Corp Certified" refers to a certification provided by B Lab, a global non-profit organization that evaluates companies based on their social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corp certification indicates that a company meets rigorous standards of social and environmental responsibility.

GE Free Inputs

"GE Free inputs" refers to the absence of genetically engineered (GE) or genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in the inputs used in agricultural or food production. To meet the requirements to be "Certified Organic" a product must meet all "GE free "principles such as ensuring the absence of genetically engineered ingredients or inputs.

BPA Free Packaging
