These creamy overnight oats are a simple, nourishing breakfast made with pantry staples from our Refillable Range. Soaked overnight with chia seeds and plant-based milk, they’re endlessly customisable. Top with fresh fruit, nut butter and a swirl of homemade chia jam for a wholesome start to your day.

Base + Berry Jam

  • ½ cup Ceres Organics Rolled Oats (Base)
  • 1 Tbsp Ceres Organics Chia Seeds (Base)
  • 1 Tbsp Ceres Organics LSA blend (linseed, sunflower, almond) (Base)
  • ⅓ cup fresh or defrosted frozen organic berries (Berry Jam)
  • 1  tsp Ceres Organics Chia Seeds (Berry Jam)
  • 1  Tbsp Ceres Organics Maple Syrup for sweetness (optional) (Berry Jam)

method

  1. Combine oats, chia seeds, LSA, and milk in a jar. Stir, cover, and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
  2. To make the berry jam, heat berries in a small saucepan over medium heat until soft then mash with a fork. Stir in chia seeds and simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened. Sweeten with maple syrup if desired then cool in fridge (jam will thicken as it sets). Store in the fridge for up to a week.
  3. Top with your choice of fresh fruit, nut butter, cacao nibs or muesli, and yogurt.
  4. Serving Suggestions: Black Forest style (layer berry jam, cacao nibs, and Ceres Organics Cacao Crunch Muesli or your own home-made granola). Almond Berry (top with blueberries, Ceres Organics Almond Butter, almonds, and coconut yogurt). Banoffee (swirl in peanut butter, layer with banana slices, and a drizzle of Ceres Organics Maple Syrup).
