A vegetarian favourite, this nourishing wholefood provides high levels of protein and dietary fibre, while being naturally low in fat and sugar. Lentils readily absorb the flavours of the ingredients they are cooked with, making them super versatile. They’re great in endless dishes, including hearty meals and soups.

TO COOK: Rinse. Add 1 cup of lentils to 4 cups boiling water. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until tender.
