At Ceres Organics we like our food wholesome and pure. So we’ve put together this dry soup mix of organic barley, peas and lentils for a handy, pantry staple that’s good for any occasion or recipe. Super versatile, it makes a great base for a delicious, satisfying dish simply by cooking in water or broth and adding your favourite vegetables and herbs.
TO COOK: Start with 1 cup of water or broth to 1 cup of Country Soup Mix. Bring to boil and simmer until the split peas are fully cooked (about 50-60 minutes), adding more liquid as needed.
