Organically grown tomatoes have been harvested at the peak of ripeness and dried naturally in the sun with natural sea salt, allowing them to retain their nutritional value while intensifying their taste. They work anywhere their young fresh counterparts do. Dice them into a fresh salad, toss them into your wraps, or work them into savoury muffins.
To rehydrate before use, soak them in cold water for 3-4 hours until they are plump, changing out water once to remove salt. If pressed for time, they can be soaked in hot water to soften. Rinse well and drain before use.

    First time not buying these in oil

    Didn't realize these would be salty but soon figured out that keeping them in a jar of oil for a few days makes them ready to eat in the same way as normal. Great flavour.
